Being great Interactors during Open Door Friday

Naomi taught us how to play the card game 31.

We made a big dump truck together.

We were playing a game pretending we were in Antarctica.

Our scooters and skateboarders were working well together sharing the court space.

Sharing the hot glue gun to make our creations.

Lots of children have been challenging themselves this week improving their skipping skills.

Super Hero descriptions

This week we wrote descriptions about the awesome superheroes that we had drawn. We also created a background for our superheroes drawings. We painted the sky then cut out skyscrapers to add to our pictures. Some of us published our descriptions on Book Creator using the talk to text function. It sometimes wrote the wrong word which was funny.

T13's Superheros!

We have been using our super powers to save the world and fight the bad guys! Here we are in action!

T14's Learning Powers

This week we have been learning about our 'Achiever Learning Muscles'. 

We decided which muscles we were already doing really well and made posters on Book Creator about our Super Learning Powers that we already had.

 
Then we chose one muscle that they wanted to get better at.  We talked about what we would need to do to achieve this.

The Adventures of the Girls in the Blue Room

We had fun playing in the blue room today. It was exciting to use ribbons to decorate our creations. 

This is our gorilla house!! We love to maker our house very messy with the ribbons.

We balanced on the blue stuff!

Our house has confetti which we used to decorate the house! 

We made a cool house with no roof! This is our family house and it has confetti and we have a car that turns into a surfboard.

We have been learning about the nine stars of Matarki. We chose pictures that represented the meaning of each star.

Waipunarangi- oceans, lakes and rivers

Waitī and Waitā - work together to look after small creatures

Ururangi - having a good attitude is the key to success
