We have been learning about the nine stars of Matarki. We chose pictures that represented the meaning of each star.
Tupu - ā- nuku - looking after plants
Tupu -ā-rangi - waiata
Waipunarangi- oceans, lakes and rivers
Waitī and Waitā - work together to look after small creatures
Ururangi - having a good attitude is the key to success
Matariki - looking after children
