Learning through Play

The children in Tī Kōuka have had a busy week during ACTIVE play.
There has been some great imaginative play and lots of sharing happening in the studio.
Playing defence force with the magnets and dinosaurs.

Designing your own Lego bey blade spinners have been popular. The children like competing to see if the spinner they have designed can last.

Lots of creations have been made at the junk table.

We have been helping Susan looking after the garden.

The family area has had imaginative games happening.
After we read the Tree Hut Treaty many of the children made their own huts. One hut became a train!

The woodwork table was a hit on Friday with sawing and hammering happening.
