Using wow words in our writing.

This week during writing, we wrote a description of a photo for Seaweek. We tried to use wow words to help make our writing more interesting.

I can see a turtle in the shiny blue ocean. I can see big plastic bags in the water. I can see a fish stuck to a turtle. I wonder if the turtle will swallow the plastic?

Naomi

I see a turtle gliding. I feel bad because there is a plastic bag and the sea creatures will get sick. I wonder why there is rubbish in the water. 

Liam

I see a turtle gliding through dark blue water near two pieces of swaying plastic. I’d feel sad if the turtle ate the plastic but I wonder if the turtle will eat the plastic.

I can see the amazing turtle swaying across the ocean. I see the plastic floating across the sea. I see the fish attached to the turtle. Amelia.
